The month of July has started and with it brings a lot of excitement about new two-wheelers to be launched this month. Let’s take a look at them:
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is one of the most anticipated motorcycles to be launched this year. The front end of the bike looks similar to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 with a round headlight and a rounded tank design. The rear end looks similar to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 with the exhaust and the integrated taillight and turn indicators. It will be powered by the Himalayan 450’s 452cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40.02PS and 40Nm in the ADV. Check out the details here.
The Bajaj CNG bike will get a CNG cylinder mounted horizontally under the seat and an auxiliary petrol tank, to be used when the bike runs out of CNG. It is expected to get a 125cc engine but power output will likely be equivalent to that of a 110cc bike as CNG is not as power-dense as petrol. It is all set to launch this month, making it the first CNG bike in the country. Check out everything we know so far about the upcoming bike here.
Images of an updated Hero Destini 125 were leaked online recently and the scooter is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. The 2024 model gets a completely reworked design and looks much boxier than the model currently on sale. The headlight cowl looks completely different and the indicators are much sleeker now. The alloy wheel design is similar to that of the Hero Xoom 110. The design changes have made the Destini 125 look more premium now.
The most powerful single-cylinder bike in the world, the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono, has been teased by Ducati India recently. The supermoto is expected to be launched here in the coming weeks. It is powered by a 659cc, liquid-cooled Superquadro Mono producing 77.5PS at 9,750rpm and 63Nm at 8,000rpm, which is Ducati’s first single-cylinder engine in 30 years after the Supermono 550. Also, after its launch, it’ll be the first ever single-cylinder Ducati bike to be sold in India.
The BWM CE 04 is a maxi electric scooter with a very unconventional design that is unlike any other scooter seen on Indian roads currently. It is offered in two variants with nominal power outputs of 15kW and 11kW. It gets a 8.9kWh capacity battery pack and a claimed range of 130km.
