February is shaping up to be a relatively quiet month for new car launches, especially in contrast to the flurry of activity we saw in January with the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Since January saw the Auto Expo 2025, which had so many new launches and unveils, February naturally slows down, with only two confirmed launches planned as of now. However, while the number of new cars may be limited, the excitement remains high as we look forward to what’s coming next.
Audi India has officially confirmed that the facelifted RS Q8 will make its debut on February 17, 2025. As the sportiest and fastest iteration of the Q8, the RS Q8 continues to share its heart with the Lamborghini Urus, i.e. the mighty 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine churning out a staggering 640 PS and 850 Nm of torque. This powerhouse propels the SUV from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds, making it one of the quickest high-performance SUVs in the country.
While the overall design language remains unmistakably RS Q8, the facelift introduces subtle yet impactful tweaks. A new blacked-out honeycomb grille, darkened LED headlights, and 22-inch blacked-out alloy wheels enhance its aggressive stance. The rear gets OLED tail lights for the first time, alongside a more prominent diffuser and spoiler, adding to the SUV’s road presence. Inside, the RS Q8 blends luxury with sportiness, featuring Alcantara touches, gloss black elements and the option for performance-focused sports seats. Tech-wise, it boasts dual digital displays, a four-zone climate control system, a panoramic sunroof, and connected car tech.
Expected to be priced just over Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom), the RS Q8 facelift positions itself as a more affordable yet equally thrilling alternative to the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX. With Audi’s adaptive air suspension and active roll stabilization, it promises a perfect balance between daily comfort and track-ready aggression. If you’ve been waiting for the ultimate high-performance SUV, February 17 is the date to mark on your calendar!
Kia India is finally gearing up to launch its much-awaited premium sub-4m offering, the Kia Syros this month. It will be offered in six variants — HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). The Syros brings a blend of premium design, advanced technology, and versatile powertrain options, making it a compelling choice for SUV buyers.
Under the hood, the Syros offers a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 120 PS and 172 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. For diesel lovers, a 1.5-litre engine delivering 116 PS and 250 Nm is available with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
Alongside its powerful lineup, the Syros comes loaded with features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium Harman/Kardon sound system. Safety is also a priority, with six airbags, ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control.
With an expected starting price of Rs 9.7 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kia Syros will go head-to-head with the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Maruti Brezza, while also challenging mid-spec versions of larger SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Honda Elevate. It will be launched on the 1st February 2025, and deliveries are slated to begin in mid-February, so if you book now, you might just have the Syros parked in your garage before the month is out!
Apart from these two exciting models, other potential launches and unveilings could take place in February 2025, keeping car enthusiasts on their toes. Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming cars in the months ahead!
