Interior of the upcoming Citroen C3X spotted for first time.
Features similar cabin layout to the C3 and C3 Aircross, with all-black dashboard colour theme.
Expected to get a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 7-inch digital driver’s display.
Likely to come equipped with 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine 6-speed manual transmission.
Expected to be launched in early 2024.
Last year, spy images of Citroen’s upcoming crossover, the C3X, surfaced online, giving a glimpse of its exterior design. It is based on a similar platform as the C3 and C3 Aircross, and the French carmaker also confirmed that it will be offered in the Indian market. While we had images of its exterior earlier, this time a spy picture has shown the interior of the C3X. Take a look.
From the image, it is clear that the interior of the C3X is largely similar to that of the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross SUV. The car features the same floating infotainment system in the centre of the dashboard and a similar three-spoke steering wheel as seen in the aforementioned models. That said, it gets an all-black dashboard differentiating it from the other C3 siblings.
The C3X will likely be equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch fully digital driver's display, manual AC steering-mounted audio controls, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a multi-speaker sound system, and a rear washer and wiper. On the safety front, it is expected to have dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, hill start assist, and a reversing camera.
The C3X is expected to feature the same 110 PS/190 Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine from the C3 and C3 Aircross, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. We also expect Citroen to offer it with a 6-speed automatic transmission, currently available with the international-spec C3 and C3 Aircross.
It is expected to be launched on our shores in the first quarter of 2024 at a starting price of around Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom).The C3X will lock horns with the upcoming Tata Curvv while also serving as an alternative to cars such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Verna, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
