The Kia Syros, which made its global debut in India this month, is expected to launch at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025. Packed with advanced tech, it features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver’s display, 64-color ambient lighting, ventilated seats, and a premium 8-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system. Safety highlights include 6 airbags, ESC, TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, a 360-degree camera, and level-2 ADAS.

Under the hood, the Syros offers two engine options: a 1-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel, both with manual and automatic transmission choices. Compact yet spacious, its balanced dimensions, unique exterior design and cutting-edge features make the Syros a promising addition to Kia’s lineup for 2025.

Kia Carens EV

Expected Launch: April 2025

Kia’s best-selling MPV, the Carens, is going electric! The Carens EV is expected to combine the practicality of its ICE counterpart with EV technology. Along with this, Kia could also take the opportunity to introduce the electric version with an updated design, which will basically preview the facelift for the ICE version. 

The interior could see significant upgrades with an updated design, a bigger infotainment screen, and in typical Kia fashion, it could be loaded with features. The Carens EV is expected to offer spacious comfort for families while staying eco-friendly. One can also expect multiple battery options with a usable real-world range.

For those who prefer the tried-and-tested ICE route, Kia is also expected to revamp their much-loved MPV, the Carens, in 2025 with a facelift. The update could bring refreshed styling with a redesigned front grille, new lighting elements, and new alloy wheels.
