Ducati has launched the 2023 Panigale V4 in India. The newly launched model comes with updated electronics, making the supersport a bit more intuitive and convenient for the riders to handle the super-fast motorcycle.
The 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 comes packed with a new Engine Brake Control (EBC) Evo 2 software, featuring gear-by-gear calibration on the three selectable levels. This is claimed to improve the stability and precision of the bike while braking and cornering and overall perfect the engine braking intensity.
To improve the gearshift fluidity even further at partial and full throttle opening, the updated Panigale V4 receives new technology for the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS). This should make the gear shifts even crisper.
Adding to the updates is a new cooling technology that will help the supersport offer better thermal management. It is also aimed to keep the bike cooler after taking laps around a race track.
For better and more accurate lean angles and safety during the same, Ducati has refined its traction control system on the updated Panigale V4. Apart from that, the supersport also flaunts better-than-before ride-by-wire technology that helps improve the torque delivery on the bike at a twist of the throttle.
Barring this, the motorcycle remains unchanged and is powered by the same 1,103cc, V4, Desmosedici Stradale, liquid-cooled engine producing 216.95PS and 124Nm. However, the European spec gets an increase in power and is now rated at 218.4PS. A bump in the Indian-spec model’s power would have been appreciated as well.
The above-mentioned updates will be available on all the Panigale V4 and V4 S models. And the owners of the 2022 V4 and V4 S models can get these features by simply updating their motorcycles at a Ducati service centre towards the end of July.
