Despite being entry-level, the Mercedes GLA shows what puts the “L” in “luxury”

The luxury car segment has seen a multifold increase in prices in recent years. Gone are the days where you could get a Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series for around half a crore. Nowadays, even an entry-level model costs north of Rs 50 lakh. For reference, a compact SUV like the Hyundai Creta or Kia Seltos costs around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) for a fully loaded variant.
