This week was full of surprises and we saw everything from launches to teasers of what’s to come. If you weren’t keeping up with the news don’t worry, this wrapup will bring you up to speed.
Hero started this week by launching their own motorcycle built on the Harley-Davidson X440 platform, the Hero Mavrick 440. The bike comes with the same 440cc air/oil-cooled engine as the Harley-Davidson X440 but the one on the Mavrick produces 2Nm less torque bringing the power figures to 28PS and 36Nm. Bajaj has been working on bringing new updates to its Pulsar lineup, with the Pulsar N150 and N160 getting new instrument consoles last week. Now the brand is focusing on the Pulsar NS200, the updated bike was first teased on social media but we didn’t get to see much at the time and weren’t sure what to expect.

This week was quite eventful for both the electric bikes and electric scooters space. We saw new launches, updates and teasers. Here’s an overview of everything that happened this week
Starting off, we first saw an update program being launched by iVOOMi which promises to bring new features and functionalities to their scooter lineup, which includes the iVOOMi JeetX, iVOOMi S1 and iVOOMi S1 2.0. The new features and functionalities include Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and much more all at a price of Rs 2,999. Here are all the details.
Another interesting development this week was the announcement of a strategic partnership between Ultraviolette and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. Which means you can charge your Ultraviolette F77 at HP Petrol pumps in the future.
In terms of launches, we saw Kabira Mobility launching the second-gen models of the KM300 and KM400. The KM300 is a fully faired motorcycle which resembles the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KM400 is a naked bike that now comes with a unique design of its own.
