Had your eyes set on the new Nissan X-Trail? Then this news is for you. The Japanese carmaker has opened bookings for the upcoming 2024 X-Trail, which is expected to launch on August 1, 2024. Interested customers can reserve theirs either at a Nissan dealership or its official website.

It must be noted that the X-Trail moniker makes a comeback to India after a decade! So let’s see what the new SUV comes packing with:

Nissan X-Trail Design

The X-Trail is quite a nice looking SUV! Up front, the V-shaped grille dominates the face, flanked by a pair of split LED headlights. In profile, you get posh looking 20-inch, which gives it a nice stance. You’d also like the fact that the silhouette is more upright and looks more SUV than crossover. Wrap around LED tail lamps round off the overall design at the rear.

Nissan X-Trail Interior And Features

Step inside the car and you get a dashboard, whose design is minimalist and easy on the eye. In an age where touchscreens are taking over, we must say kudos to Nissan for retaining physical knobs and buttons for important functions. The only bummer here is that you get fabric seats, which at this price point, should not be the case.

Feature highlights include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, powered driver’s seat and keyless entry with push button start.

Passenger safety is taken care of by seven airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and electronic stability control.

Nissan X-Trail: Engine Option

The Nissan X-Trail is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that puts out 163 PS and 300 Nm. It is paired to a 12V mild-hybrid system for additional torque boost. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a shift-by-wire CVT gearbox.
