Kia is gearing up for the launch of the facelifted Seltos in the upcoming weeks. Pre-launch bookings are underway and the Seltos has racked over 13,000 bookings. Like before, the Seltos will be offered in three broad trims: Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line. And in this report, we’ll be looking at what’s different between the Tech Line and GT Line trims.
First things first, Tech Line takes a more elegant approach to its design while the GT Line looks more sporty with its aggressive design touch.
Both variants get a larger “Tiger Nose” grille at the front, but the finish is different for the respective trim lines. Also, while Seltos Tech Line has a more minimalistically styled bumper, the GT Line with its more aggressive design touches looks much more meaner.
In profile, the Seltos Tech Line rolls on 17-inch dual-tone alloys. On the other hand, the GT Line gets larger 18-inch rims that give the SUV a much beefier and aggressive stance.
Connected LED tail lamps are common between both the variants and look wicked, especially when illuminated. However, the bumper design is different between both the versions, with the GT Line getting a sportier design. Also, if you opt for the turbo-petrol engine in the GT Line, you get dual exhaust tips that look racy.
Inside, the facelifted Seltos gets the dual integrated displays comprising a touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver’s display. However, it comes finished in different colour schemes depending on the trim you pick. So in the Tech Line, it comes finished in black/tan while the GT Line’s cabin comes in black with white inserts.

Even the roofliner is different between both models: the Tech Line gets a lighter beige finish while the GT Line gets a black one.
Both variants come with almost all the bells and whistles, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a Bose sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting and ventilated front seats. And in terms of safety, they come packed with six airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors.

The GT Line goes one up over the Tech Line by packing features such as an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera and most importantly, ADAS features.
The Kia Seltos Tech Line gets all the powertrain options that are offered with the SUV. However, if you opt for the GT Line trim, your choices are limited to the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines, paired with their respective automatic transmissions.
