Kia India is all set to announce prices of the facelifted 2023 Seltos in the coming days. It will be offered in three broad trims: Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line. You might have seen what the Kia Seltos looks like in its top-spec GT Line and X-Line trims as most of the images online are of these trims. Now, we bring you an in-depth look at what the Seltos looks like in its Tech Line trim in its top-spec HTX+ variant.
Before we start, let’s get one point clear. The Tech Line takes a more elegant approach to its design, while the GT Line and X-Line take a more sportier direction.
Up front, the same large Tiger Nose grille gets a different insert in the Tech Line as compared to the GT Line and X-Line trims. The reprofiled LED DRLs now run through the centre of the grille and the SUV also gets Audi-like sequential turn indicators. Its bumper design is also cleaner and simpler for that elegant look.
In profile, the Seltos Tech Line sits on 17-inch dual-tone alloy rims that give it an upmarket look. That said, GT Line and X-Line trims get larger 18-inch rims that give the SUV a much beefier stance as well as a sportier look.
At the rear, the Seltos gets illuminated connected LED tail lamps that look wicked when illuminated. Apart from that, it gets a minimalistic-style bumper with a silver skid plate adding to the macho look.
Inside, the Kia Seltos Tech Line gets the same dual integrated 10.25-inch screens, whose layout is similar to the more premium Kia EV6. But up here, the dashboard comes finished in a black/tan hue giving it an upmarket appearance. To know the detailed variant-wise interior colour schemes of the Kia Seltos, head to this report.
In terms of features, you get almost all the niceties, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, a wireless phone charger, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a Bose sound system and ambient lighting. Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors.
Do note that for niceties such as ADAS, electronic parking brake and a 360-degree camera, you would have to step up to the GT Line and X-Line trims.
The Seltos Tech Line comes with all the powertrain options offered with the Seltos. So you get all the three 1.5-litre engine options, paired with their respective transmissions. You can take a look at the detailed specifications of the SUV in this table below:
