Suzuki has silently updated the Hayabusa for 2023 by giving it three new colour schemes and by making the Dhoom bike OBD2 compliant. But, these updates have made the bike dearer by almost Rs 50,000, and it now retails at Rs 16,90,000 (ex-showroom India).
The 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa comes in three new colours – Metallic Thunder Gray/Candy Daring Red, Metallic Mat Black No. 2/Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Vigor Blue/Pearl Brilliant White. These colours replace the ones offered on the 2022 model year (MY22) Busa. Along with the new colours, the OBD-2 compliance means that in case of any fault/error, the console will display the real-time engine data to the rider.
There are no mechanical changes to the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa. So, it continues with the same 1,340cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder motor that pumps out 190PS and 150Nm.
While the Hayabusa has been updated to meet the latest emissions norms, the company is yet to release the OBD2-compliant Katana and V-Strom 650XT. We should see the updated models hit showrooms here in the coming weeks.
