Mercedes-Benz India has launched the 2024 GLS facelift luxury SUV on our shores at Rs 1.32 crore (ex-showroom). As part of its midlife update, Merc’s flagship luxury SUV primarily gets styling updates and feature additions. You get to choose from either petrol or diesel engine options.

Exterior Design 

Design changes in the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift are easily noticeable, courtesy the gigantic slatted grille and giant tri-pointed star. A tweaked front bumper adds to the overall styling up front, adding to the SUV’s massive road presence. In profile, you get new alloys, while the rear gets updated LED tail lights and a revised bumper. 

Interior Design 

Inside, the overall dashboard layout and design are similar to the outgoing model with the main highlight being the dual integrated screens, which now get an updated version of the MBUX software. Now, since this SUV has Merc’s older dashboard layout, you get physical buttons for the climate control and primary functions. That said, the new steering wheel, revised trims and upholstery give the cabin a breath of fresh air. You can spec it in three colour choices: black, beige and brown. 

Features On Board

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift gets features such as five-zone climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. a panoramic sunroof, a top-tier Burmester 3D surround sound system, a power-operated tailgate, ambient lighting, powered front seats with ventilation and heating, entertainment screens for the middle-row passengers and an electronically adjustable steering rack.

Safety measures are taken care of by multiple airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Engine Options
