Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Vulcan S in India at Rs 7,10,000 (ex-showroom). For 2025, the bike has got a colour update, Pearl Matte Sage Green. However, mechanically the bike has stayed the same and has the same price tag as the previous iteration.
The Kawasaki Vulcan S is a cruiser-style bike. It has a low profile and gets forward-set footpegs paired with an upright handlebar for a comfortable yet aggressive riding stance. The new colour seen on the tank and fenders gives the bike an understated look. Components like the headlight, engine covers, body panels and alloy wheels get a blacked-out finish.
The Kawasaki Vulcan S is powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 61PS at 7,500rpm and 62.4Nm at 6,600rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is based on a perimeter frame and gets a telescopic fork and preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a 272mm front and 216mm rear disc brake. It rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. It is equipped with a 14-litre fuel tank and has a kerb weight of 235kg. Its cruiser-style design allows for a low seat height of 705mm and 130mm of ground clearance. Features-wise, the bike has a rudimentary setup. It features a semi-digital instrument console and misses out on Bluetooth connectivity.
The Vulcan S competes in the cruiser segment and rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
