Hero MotoCorp has launched the XPulse 210 in India. It replaces the XPulse 200 4V and is available in a single variant which is priced at Rs 1,75,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Hero XPulse 210 carries the same design language as the XPulse 200 4V though Hero has made some changes to make it different from its predecessor. The XPulse 210 gets a proper dual-sport inspired design which is complemented by a high-mounted front beak, a tall flyscreen, a sculpted furl tank with new side panels, a long single-piece seat and an upswept exhaust. The design looks very purposeful accentuated by the 21-inch front wheel and knuckle guards, and looks off-road ready.
The XPulse 210 is powered by an all-new 210cc which we have previously seen on the Karizma XMR 210. A 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which makes 24.8PS and 20.7Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The powerout is lower than the Karizma XMR 210 and is done so to suit the motorcycle’s off-road going characteristics.
The motorcycle also gets a new chassis, a telescopic fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock. The wheel travel for the front wheel is 210mm while its 205mm at the rear wheel.
The Hero XPulse 210 is also more feature-rich than before. It gets a 4.3-inch TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity, call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets a 3 ABS modes. Hero has also provided the XPulse 210 with a USB charging port to increase practicality.
The Hero XPulse 210 goes against the likes of Yezdi Adventure in India. The more expensive option which you can consider is the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
