After weeks of dropping teasers on social media, Honda BigWing has launched the CB300F in India, and it comes in two variants: Deluxe and Deluxe Pro.
The Honda CB300F is priced at Rs 2,25,900 for the Deluxe variant, while the Deluxe Pro variant is priced at Rs 2,28,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). In comparison, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 costs Rs 1,81,400.
This new bike from the Japanese marque will also go up against the likes of the KTM 200 Duke, Bajaj Pulsar N250 and the Yamaha FZ25.
The Honda CB300F is powered by a 293cc air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 24.47PS at 7,500rpm and 25.6Nm at 5,500rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. Underpinnings include a golden USD fork and five-step preload adjustable monoshock. It gets a 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. It also comes with the safety net of Honda Selectable Torque Control, which is essentially a traction control system.
The CB300F features all-LED lighting, USB Type-C charger along with a brightness-adjustable digital instrument cluster. The Deluxe Pro variant gets Honda RoadSync, which allows the rider to pair with their smartphone and attend phone calls, or seek voice navigation with the help of the switch cube on the left handle.
With Honda aiming to go head-to-head with the big names of the 250-300cc segment, the pricing is too high. That aside, does this bike pack the punch to achieve what the Japanese marque hopes? We are riding this bike tomorrow, and will be able to give you this answer real soon. Watch this space for more!
