For all the solo riders out there, Jawa has launched a new top of the line variant of the Jawa 42 Bobber with a bunch of updates. Called Black Mirror, the new variant costs Rs 2,25,187, which is Rs 10,000 more expensive than the Jasper Red variant.
The Jawa 42 Bobber goes up against the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda H’ness CB350, Yezdi Roadster, Keeway V302C and the upcoming Royal Enfield Shotgun 350.
Gets a brand new colour scheme with blacked out components including the engine
Features a really flashy chrome fuel tank that can bedazzle the folks on the street.
To ensure a better damping, the monoshock has been re-tuned as well. When we rode the previous-gen Jawa 42, the rear seemed a bit on the firm side. So the revision is likely to help with the same.
For that fancy addition, it also gets new diamond cut alloy wheels, which means tubeless tyres. The other models get spoke wheels with tubed tyres on the standard model.
It gets the same 334cc liquid-cooled mill making 29.9PS and 32.7Nm.
Earlier this year, the bike was updated to OBD2 norms and got an updated 38mm throttle body and revised fuel mapping which should offer a more refined riding experience.
Rest of the hardware and design elements stay the same as the standard bike.
The new variant surely does look fancy and makes it an even more attractive bike with the blacked out and chrome finish. Adding to that, the practical updates like the alloys and revised suspension, make for a wholesome update and more or less justify the Rs 10k hike in the price over the Jasper Red variant.
