The quartet are carrying attractive price tags

QJ Motor officially set foot into the Indian market a few days ago, with four products – the SRC 250, SRC 500, SRV 300 and SRK 400. Well, these bikes are now officially launched and despite them being CKD (Completely Knocked Down) products, they get pretty attractive price tags.

SRC 250

This classic-style motorcycle is available in three colours – silver, red and black – with the former priced at Rs 1,99,000 and the other two shades setting you back by Rs 2,10,000 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). This pricing is impressive given that the SRC 250 gets a parallel-twin motor, thus massively undercutting its Keeway V-Twin cousin, the K-Light 250V.

The QJ Motor SRC 250 goes up against the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin.

SRC 500

The SRC 500 too gets three colours, namely silver black, gold black and red white. The silver black variant costs Rs 2,69,000, while the other two variants are priced at Rs 2,79,000 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). This bike rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Benelli Imperiale 400, and despite it being a CKD offering, the price is not too far off from these rivals.

Even if Harley-Davidson had some involvement in the making of the SRV 300, the iconic bar-and-shield manufacturer didn’t get it, or something that it was making for its own brand, to India. But QJ Motor’s Indian arm has. It is available in four swanky colours: green, orange, black and red. The green shade is available at Rs 3,49,000, while the other three shades command a premium of Rs 10,000 over the green variant (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

The QJ Motor SRV 300’s closest rival is the Keeway V302C, and it manages to undercut its Keeway cousin, however, it is considerably more expensive than its other rivals – Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Yezdi Roadster as it powered by a V-twin motor, unlike the Indian singles.

SRK 400

The QJ Motor SRK 400 clearly has the KTM 390 Duke in its sights when you look at its spec sheet. It’s available in three colours, white, black and red, priced at Rs 3,59,000 for the former and Rs 3,69,000 for the latter two (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Well, at this pricing it is still Rs 62,770 more expensive than the 390 Duke, however considering it is a CKD bike and it comes with a parallel-twin mill, the premium tag is sort of justified.

Bookings for all four bikes have begun, for a token amount of Rs 10,000 at Moto Vault dealerships across the country.
