TVS Motors has launched the iQube e-scooter in Delhi at Rs 1,08,012 (on-road Delhi) which includes the FAME-II subsidy. It costs Rs 7,000 less, compared to Bengaluru. Customers can secure their booking online with a token amount of Rs 5,000.
The TVS iQube e-scooter is powered by a 4.4kW electric hub motor drawing power from a 2.25kWh lithium-ion battery. TVS claims a top speed of 78kmph and a maximum range of 75km for the iQube. It can dart from 0 to 40kmph in 4.2 seconds. If you’re running low on juice, you can charge the scooter via TVS’ SmartXHome charging station (the company’s jargon for the home charging setup) or seven public charging stations in Delhi using the TVS iQube application. On the feature front, the iQube gets an all-LED headlight and tail lamp. Riders can also connect their smartphones to the e-scooter via the TVS iQube application to access geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation, last parking location, and incoming call/SMS notifications.

The iQube features two riding modes: Economy and Power. It’s sprung on a telescopic fork and twin-rear shock setup. Its braking hardware comprises a front disc and a rear drum brake. The iQube also features regenerative braking.
As of now, the TVS iQube is the only mainstream electric scooter available in Delhi and can suffice the need of the hour. However, that may change once the Bajaj Chetak and the Suzuki Burgman Street Electric arrive.
