TVS Motors had a very quiet 2015 as apart from updates there was no new product launch from the Hosur based manufacturer. 2016 though has started on a different note as in the first month itself it has launched its flag bearer – TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and reintroduced the Victor brand in the Indian market. At the 2016 Auto Expo we can expect both the motorcycles attracting the eyeballs at the TVS stall. Apart from the above two products we can expect an all new concept to be unveiled. The concept bike will be TVS’s take on the BMW G310R motorcycle that it would be manufacturing for the German manufacturer.
It will be similar to the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS that has been based on the KTM 200 Duke. Expect the new TVS 300cc concept motorcycle to have aggressive and sporty styling with some elements from the TVS Draken concept that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo being carried forward. TVS have been very secretive about this new concept motorcycle but we have a feeling that the bike would be something really exciting and we are eager to check it out at the TVS pavilion. TVS have hit gold with the Jupiter in the scooter segment as it was also the second highest selling scooter in the Indian market. We can expect few new scooter concepts to be unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo with a few of them hitting production within 2016 itself.
