The SRT tag does not add to the fact that the heart of the vehicle is better and more refined, it also adds to the simple theory of making a car capable of street racing. The SRT or Street Racing Technology in the Jeep Grand Cherokee is the most powerful, high-performance Jeep out of the manufacturer’s stable. Powered by a 6.4 liter HEMI V8, the new Cherokee churns out 470 bhp and a massive 630 Nm of torque with a top speed of 155 miles an hour and a zero to hundred mark in 16 seconds. Add to this, the new HEMI V8 also come equipped with Fuel Saver Technology.
The ride has also been improved to a great extent due to a better body structure and a new SRT-tuned, active damping suspension managed by a new Jeep Selec-Track System allowing the driver to manually choose between five dynamic modes for different terrains.
