2017 BMW 5 Series

BMW's latest 5 Series is here and the first thing you will notice is that it looks really close to the current 7 Series. And not just the looks, like a younger brother, it even borrows a lot more, like the 7's platform and most of its features as well. Launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 49.9 lakh across the country, the all-new 5 Series is available with three engine options across four variants. Available only with the 3-litre diesel, the 530d M Sport is the top-of-the-line variant of the all-new 5 Series. It packs a heavy punch and gets certain updates that make it stand out from the rest of the 5s. It is better suited for buyers looking to drive the cars themselves. Safety

In terms of safety, the features are standard across the range and include front and side airbags for the first row occupants and head airbags for the rear as well. The car also gets stability aids such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, Cornering Brake Control (CBC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC).
