On the exterior, there are very minimal changes with the Sonet Gravity Edition, especially when compared to the HTK+ trim. At the front, it retains the familiar look with a sporty grille, LED DRLs, headlights, and LED fog lamps.
Coming on to the side, the front doors get 'Gravity' badging which makes it distinguishable from the standard variants. It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels, unlike the stylised steel wheels offered with the HTK+ variant.
To enhance its sporty appeal, the Sonet Gravity Edition features a roof-mounted spoiler, while the overall rear remains similar to the standard variants. Colour options for the Sonet Gravity Edition include Pearl White, Aurora Black Pearl and Matte Graphite.

Inside, the Gravity Edition maintains the all-black cabin theme with silver accents throughout. However, it features navy blue stitching on the leatherette seat upholstery for a more upmarket feel. Other additions in the interior include rear adjustable headrest, 60-40 split function for rear seats and rear centre armrest with cupholders.
Over the HTK+ trim, the Sonet Gravity Edition gets a wireless phone charger and a dual-camera dash cam system. Apart from that, it comes equipped with features such as 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, a 6-speaker sound system, a 4.2-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, type-C USB charging ports, automatic climate control, and keyless entry with push button start/ stop.
Safety is taken care of with the presence of six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Kia is offering the Sonet Gravity Edition with all three engine options: the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 PS/115 Nm, the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 120 PS/172 Nm, and the 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 116 PS/250 Nm. The 1.2-litre NA petrol engine is paired only with a 5-speed manual, the 1-litre turbocharged petrol is mated only to a 6-speed clutchless manual, and the diesel engine option is available only with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
In terms of rivalry, the Kia Sonet takes on the likes of the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
