People of the internet, let us present to you two ‘all-new’ electric two-wheelers from yet another startup, Eeve. While the electric motorcycle is called the Tesoro, the electric scooter here is called the Forseti. And the way these two look, we are pretty sure we might have seen a similar looking two-wheeler somewhere at the expo. But feel free to tell us what you think about the Tesoro and the Forseti.
As of now, the company hasn’t revealed the details of the motor and the battery capacity. But it has said that the hub motors in both the motorcycle and the scooter are from Bosch. The bike’s top speed is around 90kmph to 100kmph and the scooter’s top speed is capped at 60kmph to 70kmph.
Eeve claims the battery can be charged in 3-4 hours and if you go for the optional fast charger, it takes just 30 minutes to juice up. Of course, this is a claimed time and we’ll need to test it before we can confirm this number. The manufacturer is also offering a warranty of three years on the battery and five years on the product itself.
But where and when can you buy the Tesoro and the Forceti? Well, the company claims it has around 45 dealers in the eastern part of India and it is planning to expand soon. The Forceti will be launched by June or July, whereas the electric motorcycle will be launched by October this year. So how much do you need to shell out for these new electric two-wheelers? We don’t have the exact figures, but the company says both two-wheelers will be priced around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
