Evoque And Disco Now 'Sport' Ingenium power

Jaguar Land Rover India has launched the 2018 Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque which will powered by the new Ingenium petrol engine. This 2.0-litre motor produces 250PS of peak power and comes paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The company states that the new powertrain delivers an increased efficiency while incurring low running costs.

The Ingenium petrol engine on the 2018 Discovery Sport will be offered in two trims - SE and HSE. While both the trims get some common features like leather steering wheel, auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, along with front and rear parking aid. The HSE gets additional features like keyless entry, powered gesture boot lid and three-zone climate control as standard.

Similarly, the Range Rover Evoque too gets the Ingenium engine in two variants - SE and HSE Dynamic. The more premium HSE variant gets additional features like keyless entry, gesture control boot lid, premium leather interiors and configurable ambient interior lighting to name a few.

The Land Rover Discovery Sport starts from Rs 49.20 lakh, while prices for the Range Rover Evoque start from Rs 51.06 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom India).

Jaguar Land Rover India today announced the launch of the Ingenium petrol powertrain equipped Model Year 2018 Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque. The Ingenium powertrain delivers exceptional performance, efficiency and refinement while meeting the most stringent global emissions regulations. The 2.0 l motor on the Model Year 2018 Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque produces 184 kW of peak power and is mated to an 8-speed Automatic Transmission.

The Ingenium petrol powertrain equipped Model Year 2018 Discovery Sport is offered in SE and HSE trim and is priced from Rs 49.20 Lakh. On the Range Rover Evoque, the Ingenium petrol powertrain is offered on the SE and HSE Dynamic trim and is priced from Rs 51.06 Lakh.

The Model Year 2018 Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque feature Wi-Fi Hotspot (with 4G access to up to eight devices) and Pro Services. InControl-Pro Services gets key features like The Route Planner App, Commute Mode and Sharing ETA (expected time of arrival).
