Bajaj has added a new model in the CT 110 lineup, widening its commuter-segment portfolio all the more. Dubbed the CT 110X, the bike gets a bunch of components that aren’t there in the standard model. Pre-bookings have already commenced for a token of Rs 5,000. While the official launch is slated to take place in the coming weeks, the bike is already available at select dealerships for Rs 56,700 (ex-showroom Hyderabad). It will rival the TVS Sport, TVS Radeon, and Hero Splendor iSmart.
Right off the bat, it is the round halogen headlight with a grille that distinguishes the CT 110X. Above it is the matte-finished visor with an LED DRL. The front fender, too, has been redesigned in a matte-black finish.
The CT 110X’s fuel tank gets thigh grips with a different pattern than those seen on the regular CT 110. Even the handlebar has been altered with an additional brace. Last but not least, the new Bajaj 110cc bike gets a rear luggage rack, suggesting that the new commuter may have been designed for the rural market, making it durable for bad road conditions. Even for the urban market, this rugged looking motorcycle is a stylish and funky alternative to the vanilla CT 110.
The engine is likely to be the same as the standard model -- a 115cc single-cylinder motor (mated to a 4-speed gearbox), making 8.6PS and 9.81Nm. We expect to hear more on the CT 110X from Bajaj soon enough.
