After opening dealerships in Delhi and Pune, Revolt is all set to add Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad to its list in March. The brand is planning to launch multiple Revolt Hubs in these cities. As of now, the company hasn’t shared an official timeline, but if you live in either of the three states, you could get your hands on the electric motorcycles next month! Start saving up or buy the RV400 or the RV300 on a monthly subscription basis, just like your Netflix. Oh sorry, we mean your friend’s Netflix. We have done a detailed story on Revolt’s pricing strategy, which you can read here.
The Revolt RV400 comes with several segment-first features. For instance, it gets a ‘MyRevolt’ app, which lets you access ride statistics, battery statistics, and several other features. However, the most interesting feature has to be the faux exhaust notes, which you can change from the app. We know it sounds a bit gimmicky, but it is effective and does turn heads!
The RV400 is powered by an electric motor that has a peak power of 5kW. It gets 3.24kWh swappable lithium-ion batteries that deliver an ARAI-certified range of 156km. The RV300, on the other hand, comes with a smaller 1.5kW hub motor and a 2.7kWh battery unit, which offers a claimed range of 80-150km.
We know you may have a lot of apprehensions about an electric motorcycle from a relatively unknown company. Check out our first ride review for some assurance.
