Earlier last month, Jawa launched the 42 2.1 with quite a few bits that would make for good add-ons on the standard Jawa and 42. Now, Jawa is offering a pair of alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres and a pair of bar-end mirrors on the Jawa and Jawa 42 purchased this month.
These parts are available under its Golden Scheme at a discounted price of Rs 7,999 for all the above-mentioned parts, as opposed to their original price of Rs 14,498. The offer is valid until March 31.
The bar-end mirrors add to the bike’s overall aesthetics, whereas the addition of alloys brings with it the convenience of tubeless tyres. For exact details of the Golden Scheme, we recommend you visit your nearest Jawa dealership.
Other than these accessories, the bikes remain unchanged. The motor continues to be a 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor with a power output of 26.51PS and 27.05Nm. The Jawa 42 is available in three variants: single disc, double-disc, and the 42 2.1. The single-disc version is priced at Rs 1.68 lakh whereas the double-disc retails at Rs 1.77 lakh.
However, for just Rs 6,000 more (Rs 1.83 lakh), you can get the Jawa 42 2.1 which not only gets bar-end mirrors and alloy wheels as standard but also makes 0.8PS more than the Jawa 42. It even gets dual-channel ABS as standard.
