'Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai', as they say. Kawasaki made hopeful Ninja 300 buyers wait a hell of a long time for the updated BS6-compliant motorcycle. Those who booked their dream machines after the launch on March 2 have been waiting nearly two months to receive the Ninja 300 BS6. Thankfully, that wait is nearly over with an Instagram post by Kawasaki stating deliveries are set to begin 'soon'.
Absent since the BS6 emission norms kicked in on April 1, 2020, the Ninja 300 was relaunched in BS6 iteration at Rs 3.18 lakh, making it Rs 20,000 dearer than its BS4 predecessor. Unfortunately, Kawasaki hasn't done much to justify this hike. The Ninja gets no aesthetic upgrades, new features, or mechanical changes. The only difference is that the 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor has lost 0.9Nm in the quest for cleaner emissions, with output figures now standing at 39PS and 26.1Nm.
