Kawasaki India sure knows how to put up a good tease. Ever since the Japanese brand released the teaser image of two motorcycles, the internet has been abuzz with the possibilities. It didn’t take long for Kawasaki to show the Ninja 300 BS6 (but we already knew that, didn’t we?). Now, the brand has put up two new images of the supersport in liveries inspired by the other faired siblings.
The new colour gets a candy finish to the iconic Kawasaki green, similar to the older Versys 650 models. The fairing is painted black and gets a honeycomb livery that we saw on the 2020 Ninja ZX-10R and the quarter-litre cracker, the Ninja ZX-25R. The ‘Ninja’ tag runs across the fairing of the bike.

For people who’d like to keep things low key, Kawasaki will be offering the Ninja 300 BS6 in a not-so-stealthy black variant. The livery is similar to the other colour option, however, the bright green colour offers a great contrast.
Though details are scarce at the moment, we hope the liquid-cooled 296cc parallel-twin engine continues to develop 39PS and 27Nm like the outgoing model. As for the features, we expect the only highlight to be LED headlights.
We already know unofficial bookings are underway at dealerships and Kawasaki could launch the Ninja 300 as early as the first week of March. However, Kawasaki is still keeping mum about the second motorcycle that it had teased. Could it be the Versys-X 300 or the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R? Stay tuned for the updates on ZigWheels.
