Mercedes-Benz has launched two special editions of the G-Wagen SUV. The performance-oriented AMG variants saw the inclusion of Exclusive Editions of the G 63 and G 65 to the portfolio. The Exclusive variants get stainless steel under guards, AMG sport stripes on the sides, rub strip inserts in dark aluminium and the spare wheel painted in the vehicle's body colour. There are also matte black 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels for the G 63 and ceramic-polished 10-spoke alloy wheels for the G 65 with 295/40 R21 tyres. The AMG Monza Grey Mango paint will be available exclusively for the Exclusive Editions along with the range of existing shades.

On the inside, the Exclusive Editions get two-tone leather-lined dashboards and AMG sport seats with a choice of six shades to choose from for the upholstery. There's also an option of three-tone seats with bolsters covered in black leather. From the designo manufaktur menu, customers can pick red seat belts, leather-wrapped grab handles and AMG Performance steering wheel matching with the upholstery.

The luxury-focused G 350 d and the G 500 have been launched in the designo manufaktur Edition and comes with an option of three paint finishes to choose from: designo magma red, designo mystic white and obsidian black. The two luxurious special editions of the G-Class get black AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels with 275/55 R19 tyres.

The interiors of the G-Class designo manufaktur Ediion come with black designo Nappa leather with contrast red stitching and AMG Performance steering wheel to complete the look. The designo piano lacquer with red seatbelts carry on the contrast theme. The grab handles are wrapped in black leather and a 'designo manufaktur' Edition badge adorns the centre console to remind the occupants about their unique G-Wagen.
