Mercedes Reveals GLC 43 Coupe Ahead Of Paris Motor Show Debut

Mercedes-Benz has a large range of vehicles and you can get almost every possible car style across its lineup. The latest addition Mercedes-Benz has revealed to its current lineup of vehicles is a part of its GLC range. This new car is called the “GLC 43 Coupe” and it is scheduled for debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show at the end of October. This car will directly compete with the BMW X4.

The GLC 43 Coupe has a 3.0-litre V6 petrol motor with two turbochargers, paired to Mercedes' 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. This engine is capable of making 360PS of peak power at 5,500rpm. Mercedes claims it will do the nought-to-100 kmph sprint in 4.9 seconds and go on to touch a top speed of 250 kmph (electronically limited). The car has all-wheel drive and five drive modes - Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport + and Individual. These modes tweak the behaviour of the engine, gearbox, steering and suspension, depending on the selected mode. In addition, the GLC 43 Coupe also gets cylinder deactivation and auto start-stop technology.

For suspension duties, the GLC 43 Coupe gets independent sports suspension along with adjustable dampers as standard. This system comes with functions such as ride height adjustability and automatic self-levelling. All in, the Mercedes Benz GLC 43 Coupe tips the scales at 1780 kg. The GLC 43 Coupe's all-wheel drive system has been tweaked by AMG and can split the torque between front and rear tyres to the ration of 31:69 for front and rear, respectively.

On the outside, one can see the GLC 43 Coupe having quad exhaust tips, coupe-like design and 19-inch wheels. The owners can also opt for to 21-inch wheels which are offered as an option. Inside, there is black leather upholstery with red accents in the GL 43 Coupe. The steering gets the same colour treatment while aluminium trim can also be spotted. The GLC 43 Coupe has a 7.0 infotainment unit that has Bluetooth, USB and race timer, among others, included in its functions.
