MV Agusta is all set to launch its first road-biased ADV, the Turismo Veloce 800, in India. The brand will offer only the standard variant and it will enter the country via CBU route. As far as pricing is concerned, it is likely to cost around Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom India) and will go up against the Ducati Multistrada 950, Triumph Tiger 800 XRx and BMW F 850 GS.

The motorcycle shares its powerplant with the MV Agusta F3 800 and the Brutale 800. However, in comparison to the Brutale, the ADV produces 1.5PS more and 3Nm less (111.5PS and 80Nm). A standard bi-directional quickshifter is offered as standard. To keep the bike in control, MV Agusta has equipped it with eight-level traction control, multiple rider modes and dual-channel ABS with a rear-wheel lift-up mitigation system.

For optimum dynamics, the Italian brand has used Marzocchi inverted fork and a Sachs monoshock, both fully adjustable. The motorcycle comes to a halt using dual discs with Brembo monobloc calipers up front and a disc at the rear. We will be at the launch event, so stay tuned for updates!
