Porsche has released the first teaser image of the next-generation Panamera on the internet. The image gives the view of the rear of the luxurious sedan, displaying the completely revamped design of the vehicle. The tail lights are now sleeker and feature a light strip right across the tailgate. The rear of the 2017 Panamera can be said to have a close resemblance to the rear design of the latest 911 range.

On the basis of the spy images that have been captured, the 2017 Porsche Panamera will be built on a new platform. As confirmed by Porsche, the car will come with rear-wheel steering, launch control and an enhanced sports exhaust system. Inside, buyers will be greeted with a modernised infotainment system.

The 2017 Panamera is expected to be powered by Porsche's new twin-turbo V8 engine which is expected to produce over 550PS of power and massive peak torque of 770Nm.

It is expected that Porsche will unveil the 2017 Panamera at the upcoming 2016 Paris Motor Show. The luxurious sedan will make it launched in India after its introduction in the international market.
