The special edition comes in two variants: long-wheelbase and ‘Dynamic’ short-wheelbase
Design elements include an Orchard Green body shade, black roof and mirrors, copper accents, and 22-inch diamond-cut wheels.
The cabin gets multiple leather upholstery options.
The long-wheelbase version gets reclining airline-style rear seats and an integrated Zenith timepiece in the centre console.
Powertrain options include a 400e plug-in-hybrid and a 565PS supercharged V8 petrol engine.
The ‘Dynamic’ variant gets more responsive handling and has a lower ride height than the long-wheelbase variant.
The premium Range Rover just got posher, thanks to an SVAutobiography Ultimate Edition that has been revealed by the carmaker. The special edition SUV comes in two variants: a long-wheelbase and a ‘Dynamic’ short-wheelbase. Each unit has been hand-finished by the Special Vehicle Operations division. According to the carmaker, the SVAutobiography Ultimate Edition “represents the pinnacle of Land Rover’s luxury SUV family.” And we find it difficult to disagree.
The SUV arrives in a distinctive Orchard Green body paint, with Narvik Black roof and mirrors. The attention to detail is evident from the copper elements on the Range Rover badges and the ‘SV’ emblem. There’s also a Graphite Atlas finish on the side vent, bonnet finisher, grille, and front bumper accents. Complementing the exterior styling are the forged 22-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, there’s Vintage Tan leather upholstery and multiple other options from the Italian luxury design brand Poltrona Frau. The long-wheelbase variant comes with powered rear doors, reclining airline-style Executive Class rear seats (with heating, cooling and massage functions), and plenty of legroom. A fabulous Zenith timepiece is integrated into the centre console.

Under the hood, the long-wheelbase variant can be paired with either a P400e 2.0-litre turbo plug-in hybrid (with an all-electric range of up to 40km) or a 565PS supercharged V8 petrol engine. On the other hand, the shorter-wheelbase ‘Dynamic’ variant can only be paired with the supercharged V8 engine. It is also the more driver-focussed of the two, thanks to the suspension geometry and steering calibration tuned for more agility. Its ride height is also lower by 8mm.
The short-wheelbase ‘Dynamic’ variant with the supercharged V8 is priced from GBP 147,441 (nearly Rs 1.49 crore), whereas the long-wheelbase equivalent retails from GBP 183,706 (around Rs 1.85 crore). In India, the Range Rover retails from Rs 2.01 crore to Rs 4.19 crore (ex-showroom) and is available in eight variants. However, whether the SV Autobiography Ultimate Edition will come to India is not known yet.
