Revolt RV 400 Ropes In 2500 Pre-launch Bookings

• Bookings commenced on 25 June on Revolt’s official website and on Amazon on 5 July. 
• Customers can book the bike for a token amount of Rs 1,000.
• It’s loaded with features like artificial engine note, real-time range, battery consumption and more!
• Will be launched on 22 July at an expected price of around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).

Revolt entered the electric two-wheeler segment in India by unveiling the RV 400 on 18 June. Soon after (25 June), the brand commenced online pre-bookings for the bike through its official website and Amazon.in for a nominal amount of Rs 1,000. While the initial phase targets Pune and Delhi only, the brand plans to tap into Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai in the next three months. From the looks of it, the strategy seems to have paid off, as the RV 400 has managed to rope in an impressive 2,500 bookings within a span of three weeks from just the two cities.

What possibly makes the bike tick is its impressive range and features list. To begin with, the RV 400 is claimed to be India’s first AI-enabled bike with features like artificial engine note, real-time range and battery consumption, distance travelled and charging time amongst others! While the company has been discreet with the bike’s specifications, we do know that it has an ARAI-certified range of 156km and a claimed top speed of 85kmph. This should be more than enough for your daily runabouts. Revolt will reveal the full specifications of the motorcycle on 22 July.

For added convenience, there are multiple ways to charge the bike. You could either use a 15A socket which can fully charge the battery within 4 hours. Alternatively, customers can charge the bike using the inbuilt socket available in the motorcycle. And if you’re running short of time, you’ll also have the option to swap depleted batteries for fresh ones via the manufacturer’s Mobile Swap Stations. These charge stations which will be set up across the country based on demand. The Revolt RV 400 will be launched on 22 July and is expected to retail at around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
