Royal Enfield’s entire portfolio now officially complies with BS6 emission norms. The last bike to do so is the Bullet 350 range, which is available in two trims: Standard and ES. The standard model is available in two paint schemes, Black and Forest Green, the latter of which was earlier available on the Bullet 500. It's priced at Rs 1,27,750, which is a price hike of Rs 5,910 over the previous-gen model.
The slightly more premium Bullet X 350 ES in its BS6 iteration will set you back by Rs 1,37,194, a price bump of Rs 6,829. You can opt from three colour options: Jet Black, Regal Red and Royal Blue.
Royal Enfield had also introduced a third variant, designed and developed to appeal to the masses. The bike basically went through certain cost-cutting measures to make it easier on the pocket. You can read about it here. It's available for Rs 1,21,583, a hike of Rs 6,828 over its corresponding BS4 model. There are two paint options on offer: Bullet Silver and Onyx Black. Dealerships across India have already begun accepting bookings for the bike.
Powering all three Bullet variants is the same BS6-compliant 346cc air-cooled, fuel-injected motor. It's tuned to produce 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm, and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission.
There's no noticeable difference in terms of underpinnings. The Bullet 350 continues to use a 35mm telescopic and twin shock absorber setup. Its braking setup comprises a 280mm disc up front with single-channel ABS and a 153mm drum at the rear. That said, the added weight of the larger cat-con and fuel-injection means the standard variant now weighs 186kg (up by 1kg). In the same vein, the Bullet 350 ES gains 2kg, pushing the weight of the bike to 191kg, kerb.
Expect deliveries for the BS6 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 to commence once the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation in India subsides and gets under control.
