Royal Enfield has silently updated the Bullet 350 to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. In fact, the updated Bullet 350 has even started reaching dealerships and deliveries will begin in the coming few days. According to our dealer sources, the Bullet 350 BS6 will retail at Rs 1.27 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 1.37 lakh for the top-end Electric Start variant (both prices ex-showroom Chennai). At this price, the updated Bullet 350 is now around Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 more expensive than its predecessor.
In terms of design, there’s no change between the BS6 and the BS4. The only difference between the two is the updated fuel-injected 346cc motor. Royal Enfield hasn’t announced the power and torque figures yet, but we expect it to remain similar to the Classic 350 BS6. In the Classic 350, this motor makes 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm.
The underpinnings of the Bullet 350 BS6 also remain the same as the BS4 version. So you get the same frame, suspension, and braking hardware as before. In case you're wondering why Royal Enfield hasn't launched an all-new product since the 650 twins, we have some news for you. A new Thunderbird is on its way!
