Honda’s New Bike Launch In August: What Could It Be?

Honda churns out some excellent products from time to time but it does have a tendency of pricing them slightly on the higher side. The H'ness CB350 was no exception, being launched at a fairly expensive starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh, and to make matters worse, Honda has quietly hiked the price for the first time since its launch. On the upside, the increment is rather small, but on the downside, the CB has now become yet more expensive than its most direct rival, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
Variant | Old Price | New Price | Increase |
DLX | Rs 1,85,000 | Rs 1,86,500 | Rs 1,500 |
DLX Pro | Rs 1,90,000 | Rs 1,92,500 | Rs 2,500 |

The H'ness already has an obstacle to overcome in the form of its limited availability (the bike is only sold through Honda's premium BigWing dealerships which are few and far between) so Honda needs to ensure it doesn't make the CB's job more difficult than it already is. The Meteor 350 has already been comprehensively outselling the H'ness and you can read about it here. We hope this is the last price hike from Honda for a while.
