All the 40 units that have ever been made look unique, thanks to Buggati’s coachbuilding

Bugatti has announced that the last Divo has been delivered to a customer in Europe. Limited to only 40 examples worldwide, the coach-built supercar was only offered to select Chiron customers before it was displayed globally. And the highlight here is that each unit is exclusive, distinct from the other.

The Divo is a coach-built car tailored to the customer’s taste, courtesy of Bugatti’s coachbuilding. Owners get to choose from their preferred design elements, colour schemes, upholstery, and trim options. As a result, each of the 40 Divos is markedly different from the rest.

The last Divo that rolled out of Molsheim is finished in Bugatti EB 110 LM Blue, harking back to the supercar brand’s last official Le Mans racing car. A generous use of blue carbon fibre not only adds to the look but helps keep the weight in check. The cabin is finished in French Racing blue with dark blue and carbon fibre elements making for a slight contrast.

This, indeed, is a fine piece of art. And that’s not all the beauty. Below that intricately crafted body is the same chassis and powertrain as the Chiron. Which is, Bugatti’s 8.0-litre W16 quad-turbo engine that belts out 1,500PS to all four wheels. As a result, it should be as fast as the Chiron, which makes the 0-100kmph sprint in just 2.4 seconds.

It took Bugatti three years to supply these 40 fine examples of craftsmanship, each priced at around $5.8 million (Rs 43.16 crore approx).
