Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motor Company has flagged off yet another chapter of the Apache Owners Group ride. Aptly named 'Race to the Clouds', the ride will see around 30 TVS Apache owners, including three female participants, ride their Apache motorcycles (160, 180, 200 and RR 310) down to Nubra Valley, Leh. In a span of 14 days, the team will cover a distance of approximately 2,600km, across five cities before concluding the ride at Nubra Valley on 3 August 2018.
Since its inception back in 2006, the Apache brand has been the flag bearer of the company. Not surprising then, the Apache range of motorcycles have attracted a healthy following across India, with a claimed active rider base of 3,000 customers across 35 cities. This isn’t surprising when you consider the company has over 2000 dealerships all over India, which have sold over 40,000 Apaches in the last month alone.
In a bid to strengthen this community, TVS started organising AOG meetups and ride. The first chapter of the same was held in Mysore, back in April. The event saw participation from over 150 TVS Apache owners from cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi and Coimbatore to visit the company’s plant where the Apache bikes are built.
So, if you happen to own a TVS Apache and have been raring to go on a long bike trip, we suggest you keep an eye out for more such trips under TVS' AOG chapter.
