If you are a fan of retro motorcycles, there’s 100 per cent chance that you’ve heard of Yezdi. So, all you Yezdi aficionados, here’s a story that might be the perfect way to beat your Monday blues. After resurrecting Jawa, Classic Legends is planning to do the same with Yezdi as the company’s official social media handles are now live (it’s @Yezdiofficial. You’re welcome!).
As of now, the company has started off with selling official ‘Yezdi-branded’ merchandise, which will be available in select Jawa showrooms. But there’s no word from Classic Legends about the official launch of the brand in India. Additionally, there’s still no news whether the company will revive the iconic Classic and Roadking, but we do hope to see modern iterations of these motorcycles roaming on our streets soon!

Will the new Yezdis use the same powerplant as the Jawas? How many models will be there? Will there be some sort of part-sharing or will the motorcycles will be all-new from the ground up? Too many questions of which we don’t have answers just yet, but stay tuned to ZigWheels as this is still a developing story.
Apart from resurrecting Jawa and Yezdi, Classic Legends will also revive BSA. However, don’t get your hopes high just yet, because BSA will cater to Europe and America first before the company launches any model in India.
