The third teaser shows the LCD instrument cluster, which is quite similar to the Honda Grazia 125

Honda has released yet another teaser of its upcoming two-wheeler. This time around, the bikemaker has teased the instrument cluster. It looks very similar to the LCD unit in the Honda Grazia 125, reinforcing the possibility of a Grazia-based scooter, possibly something sporty to take on the TVS NTorq 125’s dominance in the segment.

The instrument cluster gets a tachometer (which is kinda pointless on a scooter in our opinion), side stand indicator and speedometer on the main housing, and engine check light, battery indicator, 3-step Eco indicator (which indicates whether you’re riding frugally or with a generous wrist), start-stop indicator (most likely with silent starter), and keyless indicator. The keyless indicator also confirms smart keyless features that the H-Smart variants of the Honda Activa 6G, Activa 125, Dio H-Smart variants get. Even the teaser mentioning ‘Smart Ride Awaits’ confirms this.

Since the console seems to have been based on the Grazia, there’s barely any space on the main display for anything other than the speed. So, a turn-by-turn navigation is unlikely to be offered. The teaser also shows a beefy apron-mounted LED headlight with sporty blue colour scheme on the bodywork with yellow highlights.

Expect Honda to launch the sporty 125cc scooter later this month or early next month. If it indeed turns out to be a sportier version of the Grazia, then expect it to cost around Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). For perspective, the Grazia costs Rs 89,845 for the top-end Disc variant, whereas the base variant retails at Rs 82,520 (both ex-showroom Delhi). Apart from the TVS NTorq 125, other rivals will include the Yamaha RayZR 125, Suzuki Avenis, Aprilia SR125, and the upcoming Hero Xoom 125.
