Radeon Key Highlights
Price: The TVS Radeon comes in three variants. The base variant is priced at Rs 59,880, the Digi-Drum version is Rs 77,394, and the top-of-the-line Digi-Disc variant is Rs 81,394 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Design: The TVS Radeon shares a no-frills design similar to the Hero Splendor Plus. Chrome accents on its bodywork add a unique touch to its appearance, making it look more stylish. The bike offers a comfortable riding position with a single-piece seat, tank grips, and an easily accessible handlebar. Its sturdy build ensures durability.
Features: The TVS Radeon comes equipped with a halogen headlight with an LED DRL below it. The indicators and taillight also use halogen bulbs. The base variant features an analogue instrument cluster, while the mid-spec and high-end variants come with a negative LCD display. Along with the speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge, the top-end variant offers additional features like readouts for real-time mileage, a clock, and a low-fuel indicator. Other features include a side-stand indicator and a USB charging port situated on the right side of the headlight cowl.
Engine: The TVS Radeon is powered by a 109.7cc single-cylinder engine making 8.08PS and 8.7Nm, working alongside a four-speed transmission. It comes with a 10-litre fuel tank.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The bike is built on a single-cradle chassis and has a telescopic fork and five-step preload-adjustable twin rear shocks to ensure a comfortable ride. It gets a 240mm petal disc or a 130mm drum at the front, and a 110mm drum brake at the rear. The Radeon rides on 18-inch tyres, has a 180mm ground clearance, and it weighs 113kg (kerb).
Rivals: The TVS Radeon competes with the likes of the Hero Splendor Plus, Honda Shine 100, Bajaj CT110X, and Honda CD 110 Dream. If you want to opt for an EV at a similar price, you may consider the Hero Electric Optima.
Variants: The TVS Radeon comes in two variants: the Base edition is offered in five colours (Starlight Blue, Metal Black, Royal Purple, Titanium Grey and the latest All Black colour), while the Digi-Cluster Edition is available in three shades (DT Blue Black, DT Red Black, and Black). The Digi-Cluster Edition offers a choice between a front drum or disc brake, and it includes a digital instrument cluster, diamond-pattern tan seat cover, chromed-out levers and rear-view mirrors.
