Volvo XC60 Latest Updates
Volvo has hiked the price of the XC60 by Rs 60,000. The only single variant on offer now costs Rs 66.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Volvo has cited supply chain constraints and rising input costs as the reason behind the price increment. The new pricing is not applicable for orders booked on or before November 24.
Volvo XC60 Key Highlights
Features: The Volvo XC60 features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Bowers and Wilkins sound system, a 12-inch driver’s display, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, voice assist, and wireless phone charging. Safety is covered by multiple airbags, rear collision warning, and a 360-degree camera with rear parking assist.
Engine: The Volvo XC60 is powered by a 2-litre petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, and develops 250PS and 350Nm. It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV is capable of going from standstill to 100kmph in 7 seconds, before maxing out at 180kmph. The SUV is 4708mm long, 2117mm wide, 1653mm tall and has a 2865mm wheelbase.
Rivals: The XC60 takes on the likes of the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and the Audi Q5.
Variants: Volvo offers the XC60 in a fully loaded B5 Inscription variant. The SUV is available in six colours: Crystal White Pearl, Osmium Grey, Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Pine Grey and Fusion Red.

I think the Volvo XC60 is the best car for weekend getaways and daily driving because of its elegance and refinement. My high requirements for reliability and safety as a discerning professional are met by the XC60. Its robust design provides you piece of mind on challenging terrain. Comfortable seats and cutting edge equipment make for a leisurely journey. Performance and features of the XC60 make it worth the higher price. Most struck me was its safety concern. Advanced safety features of the XC60, like adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance systems, protect my family and myself when driving.

It has an excellent safety package and while the outside design is awsome bt the ride quality at low speeds is poor. The five passengers have plenty of room and the cabin is fully equipped but it becomes noisy when travelling at a high speed.

Recently, I drove my new Volvo XC60 from my house to my in laws house, it was a 150 km trip and was quite impressed. The 2.0L Turbocharged engine with 250 hp made every overtaking smooth and effortless. Inside, the luxurious leather seats and minimalist Scandinavian design made every km enjoyable. The panoramic sunroof was a big hit with the kids.The safety features, such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Aid, provides peace of mind.

A quite practical structure with an enough capacity for five members, the volvo XC60 ranges from a bit expensive range. Transmission type is automatic, making it easier to drive. Best part about it is that it has a NCAP rating of 5. This adds much credibility to the model. Height is convenient and the ground clearance is also good. It is a wonderful and tech loaded model. Quality and comfort levels are unmatchable.
