Q. Which bike to buy under 2 lakh from these bike Honda Hornet 2.0, Yamaha FZ 25 and Honda CB300F?- All three bikes are good in their own forte. Honda Hornet 2.0 is a very likeable motorcycle with great handling dynamics and a frugal engine. The presence of bits such as the USD fork and LED lighting gives it that premium feel but the lack of engine excitement does put a damper on spirits. On the other hand, the Yamaha FZ 25 is powered by a 249 cc engine. This FZ 25 engine generates a power of 20.8 PS @ 8000 rpm and a torque of 20.1 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The new motorcycle gets an LED headlamp and tail lamp. The bike’s negative LCD display shows the real-time mileage apart from the regular trove of information. Another new feature in the BS6 model is the side-stand engine cutoff function. The FZ25 BS6’s premium variant, the FZS 25, gets knuckle guards, a longer windscreen, alloy wheels in the gold finish, and more premium colour options. And Honda CB300F is an amazing bike, it looks muscular and it offers a powerful which is good for long riders. The 2023 Honda CB300F gets a 293cc air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 24.47PS at 7,500rpm and 25.6Nm at 5,500rpm. The updated model’s engine is now BS6.2 and OBD-2 compliant. Q. Which is better, Yamaha FZ 25 or TVS Ronin or Jawa 42?- Yamaha FZ 25 is powered by a 249 cc engine. The FZ25 BS6’s premium variant, the FZS 25, gets knuckle guards, a longer windscreen, alloy wheels in the gold finish, and more premium color options. On the other hand, the Ronin is surely a brave new step for TVS. But despite the premium features and hardware, it does not entirely qualify as a jack-of-all-trades. It’s a well-rounded urban motorcycle dispatching city commutes with ease, but on the open road, it lacks oomph. Whereas, Jawa 42 is powered by a 293 cc engine. This 42 engine generates a power of 27. 33 PS and a torque of 27.02 Nm. Jawa has kept a minimal approach. It has equipped the 42 with an analogue speedometer, fuel gauge, and a small digital patch for the odometer readings while skipping the gear indicator and tachometer. Even the headlight and indicators use bulbs to keep the retro appeal flowing. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. FZ 25Yamaha FZ 25: Brisk and Bold Urban Rider
The Yamaha FZ 25 has been my go to ride for daily commutes and occasional road trips. Its 249cc single cylinder engine offers sufficient power producing about 20 horsepower and 20 Nm of torque, which makes city overtaking a easy task. The bike is so smooth and the handling is quite responsive, aiding in easy navigation through tight spots.Fuel efficiency is decent, clocking around 35 to 40 km/l, which is not the highest in its class but is manageable given the performance.

FZ 25Impressive bike with high torque
Yamaha FZ 25 gives very good braking and the stability is brillant and the suspension is good for both comfort and stability. The finishing is very good but the instrument cluster is not good for readable. It is great also for top speed and it produce high amount of torque and the pickup is very impressive and smoothly and with less price i like this bike. The mid range of this bike is very amazing and it compete with 200 cc bike and is a very amazing bike for both city and for the highway.

FZ 25Good Bike
It offers comfort both in city and on highways, making it a great choice in the 250 cc segment due to its affordability and performance. The mileage is impressive, averaging around 40 on highways and 35 in the city. Its dual-channel ABS enhances braking power significantly, making it safer to ride. The FZ25 is also suitable for long rides. However, its maintenance costs are higher compared to other bikes in its class. One drawback is the lower ground clearance, and it lacks a gear shift indicator. Additionally, it has an oil-cooled engine. I have faced an issue where the engine malfunction indicator lights up after the bike is washed with water.
