Audi Q5 2025

Audi has revealed the third-gen Q5 globally ahead of its early 2025 launch in Germany and Europe. The SUV has got fresh updates in its exterior and interior design. The SUV is based on Audi’s new Premium Platform Combustion and is available in multiple mild-hybrid powertrain options. It is expected to launch on our shores sometime in late 2025.

Audi Q5 2025 Key Highlights

Features: The third-gen Audi Q5 comes equipped with features like a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment, an 11.9-inch digital driver’s display and an optional 10.9-inch passenger display, a panoramic sunroof, a 19-speaker Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system, a wireless phone charger, ventilated seats, and three-zone climate control. In terms of safety, it features multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control, hill hold assist, park assist with self-parking capabilities, front and rear parking sensors and ADAS.

Engine: The third-gen Audi Q5 is powered by either a base 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that generates an output of 204 PS and 340 Nm, little lesser than the current Q5 (265PS/370Nm) or a 2.0-litre diesel engine that delivers 204 PS and 400 Nm. The top-spec SQ5 gets a 3.0-litre turbo petrol V6 engine that delivers an output of 367 PS and 550 Nm. The base petrol gets an optional all-wheel drive while it is standard in the other two powertrains. Transmission options include a 7-speed DCT for all three engines. India is likely to get the 2-litre turbo-petrol option only.

Rivals: The new Audi Q5 will continue to rival the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC and the Volvo XC60.
