First of all, the stock tyre on the Apache RR 310 is more than enough. If you are planning to change the rear tyre on your RR310, then just go with the stock size. However, you can go for a tyre size of 160 but going beyond that is not recommended. Wider tyres do not get of much use on the typical Indian roads. Coming to the next point, you will see an increase in pricing as more wider the tyre gets, more the price. So it is unnecessary to invest money on wider tyres. Moreover you lose some mileage as the tyre gets wider. I recommend you to go with the stock sized tyres. You can opt for tyres from a different manufacturer like Pirelli, Metzeller or the Apha H-1 from Apollo.

First of all it is not needed, then the benefits you get are less than the troubles like drop in mileage, increased tyre cost and on indian roads you get it punctured frequently because these punturewalas delibrately throw nails on roads to get work, my rear tyre has three punctures in 3 months.

Stick with stock tyre and if you plan to do off roading go for Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR, I have it and MY K2K ride was awesome with this tyre
