Q. Can I take Avenger 160cc for long ride of 250 kms with a pillion rider?

Yes, you can go for long ride only thing is you should not have too much of luggage.check the seating posture once by riding it for 10-20kms to avoid back pain in your long drive.Ever since I bought the avenger I got severed back pain. and I am still not able to figure out which seating position is good for me.

Q. Can Avenger 160 useful for ride of 300 km or more in single trip?

Hi I've driven multiple times from Gujarat to Rajasthan around 280 kms in 5 hours time. If the road is good bike will have no problem till 80 - 90 speed on the new BS-6 engine. The vibration has improved from previous models. Although Bajaj should definitely work on the built quality but this is a good bike for Long rides specially when you don't want to invest over 2 lakh + in cruiser bikes. Thos one comes nearly to 1.10 lakh on road

It is good for long drives unless you wouldn't have to face the sudden breakdown of the vehicle. My experience as of 700 km ownership, i faced twice such situations and the interesting part is the service centre people are not able to identify it, its 3 days now my vehicle has been in the service center

@ Indra | Definitely no if you have lower back pain. Reasons:1. The riding posture is not suitable for bad roads. Each and every bump will send shocks to your lower back as you have only your back to support the entire weight of the body. In other taller bikes, you can slightly get up using foot peg and avoid hurting your spine when you cross a bump or a pothole.2. It has less rear suspension travel, smaller rear wheel that will still worse the situation. Please have a long test ride in your frequently travelling route and then decide.

Yes shubham 5.6 is suitable height for avenger street 160.... You will noy feel any pain on this bike as it is the most comfortable bike in its segment... If you still feel back pain then dnt worry just be seated a bit closer to the fuel tank then there wont be any backpain.

Q. I want to know if Bajaj Avenger Street 160 gets slipped on pressing both the brakes? I want to purchase this bike, but some people say that the bike gets out of control if both the brakes are pressed. I also want to know which bike is the best for use?

Its fitted with abs..... i used sudden braje when all of sudden a car in front of me applied emergency brake...didnt even skided at all...its all about how hard u hit thr brakes cos the more u hit brakes more pressure applied on abs system

First free service should be done with in 30~45 days/500~750(which comes first) after that, every service should be done on 120 days from last service or every 5000 Km after the previous service.

Q. When do I need to change the engine oil - Avenger 160?

The engine oil is replaced after fixed intervals like on the first service, third service, and then after certain kilometres. For the details, you may refer to the owner's manual of Bajaj Avenger Street 160 or you may visit the nearest authorized service center.
