Bajaj Pulsar NS160 BS6 is powered by a 160.3cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with oil cooler that puts out 17.2PS of power and 14.6Nm of peak torque making it the most powerful bike in its segment. On the other hand, Honda offers the Hornet 2.0 with a more refined 184cc single-cylinder air-cooled mill that puts out 7.27PS at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm at 6,000rpm. Also, Honda claims it has a healthy mid-range performance. Moreover, the Hornet 2.0 gets imrpressive underpinnings like USD fork, a preload-adjustable monoshock, and petal disc brakes add to the premium quotient. My answer varies with what you expect your vehicle to deliver - if outright performance is your preference, NS 160 is the choice - though the design is a few years old, yet packs more value for money.But if you wish for a torquey engine, excellent handler, a comfortable, newly designed, and a fancy USD - hornet is the bike to go for.I would also add that hornet has been more fuel efficient - 55-57 KMPL. And all LED setup is rather edgy.
