2024 KTM 390 Adventure Spied: Details About The Rear-End Revealed

The second-generation model of an Austrian ADV is entering the Indian market in the coming months, as KTM is gearing up to launch the 2024 390 Adventure. And the bike has been spotted testing in India once again. 

The next-gen KTM 390 Adventure gets an all-new trellis frame along with a new sub-frame, swingarm and a single-piece seat. It gets a vertically stacked dual projector LED headlight setup, a beak like fender, taller windscreen, different looking LED turn indicators and a sleeker tail section. The grab rails are also different compared to the model currently on sale. The upcoming bike gets an adjustable inverted fork with longer wheel travel and offset monoshock, likely to get adjustability as well. It seems to get a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear Metzeler Tourance tyre setup with spoke wheels. 

In terms of features, the instrument console looks similar to that of the TFT unit seen on the new KTM 390 Duke but mounted high above the handlebar like a rally bike. Powering the upcoming ADV will be the same 398.63cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the 390 Duke, which produces 46PS at 8500rpm and 39Nm at 6500rpm. The tuning is expected to be different though and the new engine's better tractability should improve the ADV’s off-road capabilities. 

The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure is likely to be showcased at EICMA 2024 (November 5 - 10, 2024) first, followed by the launch towards the end of 2024 or early 2025. The price is expected to be around the Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
